And here is my mitten Advent Calendar. I actually just finished stuffing each one with chocolates and Scripture verses. I still need to attach the hanger to it, so it can go on the wall. 🙂
That’s too funny about the turkey… I don’t think Elena is quite up to the same weight as our turkey was… 21 lbs! 🙂 What a great idea for the advent calendar, did you think of that on your own?
Haha, ours was just about 18 pounds, which is about where Gabriel is weighing-in now!
I don’t remember exactly where I found the mitten idea… I saw a stocking one last year, and thought I’d branch into mittens.
Then I find a similar idea posted on Femina yesterday! Funny. 🙂

How is Ashley doing and the twins? I’m so excited that they’re having twins!!
Are they going to find out what they’re having or will it be a surprise?
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving together. We had a good Thanksgiving
and are so very thankful for the many blessings God has bestowed upon us this year.
And we are especially thankful for His Hand of protection upon us as he kept us from
harm or further harm in several situations. In fact, on the very day of Thanksgiving, He
was definitely watching over my Dad and brother as they were in a motorcycle
collision with each other… *ouch* but they are both healing well. Dad is having trouble
with his “bad” knee but we are praying that it will make a complete recovery.
*hugs*
