I will try to be selective and not post too many pictures… but there are so many good ones from our trip! 🙂

We’d just landed in CA, so I was able to smile – hehe. 🙂

Driving around…

Lover’s Point in Monterey.

Carmel Beach.

Hanging out at Great Grandma’s house.

San Francisco (where I was born).
Golden Gate Bridge.

Golden Gate Park.

Lunch at Scoma’s.

Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39.

Ghirardelli Square.

Having a low-key day while Steven worked at a conference.

Took my little boy on a date to the donut shop where my dad used to take me.

After visiting one of our sister churches (which was so great), we went to Big Basin to see the Redwoods.

A nap, a bath, and picking lemons about wrapped up our trip. 🙂

There… was that selective enough? 🙂

  1. your trip looks like it was SO much fun!! Made me homesick seeing all those pictures.
My favorite is the one of you and Steven, with the GG bridge in the background. Beautiful picture!

  2. You made me smile a great big smile! I love photos and these are excellent! 🙂 It looks like you had a wonderful trip and a good time with your grandparents! Looks like Gabriel got a little sun on his cheeks; cute!  He is looking more “grown up” now, I think his face is changing again.

The scenery is beautiful there and I love the Redwoods. I want to go to the coast again just to see them!

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Okay, I know you said you didn’t have much time to see everyone, and I really shouldn’t complain, but allow me this… YOU DROVE WITHIN 2 BLOCKS OF MY HOUSE!!  I could have run out to the street corner to wave at you.  So yeah.  That’s not right.  ðŸ˜‰  (We live in Felton on the way to Big Basin).

All jabbing aside, the pictures are wonderful and it looks like you had a great vacation!  How fun to be able to spend time with the Grandparents/Great-Grandparents.

  4. Such cute and beautiful photos! I am glad you had such a great trip! Cristian has been in SF a lot lately- just last night he brought the girls some goodies from Pier 39! (:  (I think he was there last weekend)… wish I could go with him sometime… and your photos of Monterrey made me even more eager to ‘tag along’ there sometime. Your Grandparents look so sweet- how wonderful to spend time with them!

  5. Loved, loved, loved the photos of your trip to CA! I had forgotten that you were born there in SF. The Redwoods are something I love that are found in various places here in the state.

I’d love to go back-I loved California! The Golden Gate Park looks fun, too. Never been there before but I’ve always wanted to-maybe it was all those “Full House”episodes! lol Anyways,I’m glad that you had a great trip, and that I got to see all your pics! By the way,the photos of Gabriel on the beach are soooooooo cute! And the rest of you all, too!lol
