Mother’s Day
The men made our Mother’s Day feast!
The meal was wonderful! The best (and biggest) burgers, complete with herb butter in the beef and topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon, grilled onion, sauteed garlic mushrooms, cheese… my mouth is now watering, thankyouverymuch! We also had grilled corn on the cob, chips, baked beans, and an ice cream sundae bar for dessert!
Park day on Monday.
Gabriel loves running through the field, picking dandelions, and especially blowing the gone-to-seed dandies. So funny. So cute.
This was my attempt at getting him to smile, by asking, “Where’s Mommy?” and then “Where’s the sky?” 🙂
That food looks like it was FABULOUS!! Wow. Tasty. And, such a handsome little guy.
I LOVE that pic of you two at the top. And the ones at the bottom of Gabriel are so cute; he’s so smart too!
I have to say that you all know how to cook some very yummy looking meals; makes me mouth water but I guess I am getting hungry too as it’s getting close to dinner time ;)Does the herb butter go in the beef or on top?We made our Mom strawberry waffles for breakfast; then she got her card and flowers. We also bought her RAM for her computer. Then I made a Mediterranean Chicken Pasta dish with Tiramisu for dessert. Mmm good! Thanks for sharing,Samantha
@yourfriendjc – The herb butter goes in the center of the beef patty. I think a large teaspoon (or more) of butter per burger patty (although these were rather large burger patties!). Steven made the butter the night before, with crushed garlic, Italian herbs, and parsley in it. When the meat grilled, it melted the butter all through the meat, so the entire patty was flavored. We really liked it! 🙂
